First Year students Indution

The  Chairman, department of education communication and technology on Monday 3rd October led other staff members of the department to induct Early years Education, first year students. The students were taken through the course content  and also the career paths that they can pursue after the Early years education course. They were introduced to staff members of the department and they were  given an opportunity to interact with them, and  any concerns that they had were addressed.

First Year Reporting

The first years are expected to physically report to the Faculty of Education of the  University of Nairobi Kikuyu Campus from Monday, September 19, 2022. All the necessary arrangements have been made for the day. All students placed in this faculty are welcome for admission.

Notre Dame University collaboration with University of Nairobi on SHARE project

 The Notre Dame University is collaborating with the University of Nairobi on a a SHARE project . It focuses on Supporting Holistic and Actionable Research in Education being implemented across five faculties. Prof Hellen Inyega , Prof Justus Inyega of  DECTPS, Faculty of Education are involved in the implementation of the three studies in the project but also the PI in  Language of Instruction study (LITES) study .The leaders of the collaboration from Notre Dame and Resilient Africa Network (RAN) of Makerere University and University of Nairobi made a courtesy call last Monday morning

Webinar on learner response to use of learning tool kit software during Covid19 pandemic

The department of educational communication, technology and pedagogical studies will hold a webinar on Thursday 17th March 2022  on learner response to use of learning tool kit software  during Covid19 pandemic. Lectures and Students who went out on teaching practice will share their experiences on the use of the software. The main speakers will be Mr. Enos Kiforo and Ms Rose Iminza from Corncodia University

LTK Software training for second year students and Faculty members

The department of educational communication, technology and pedagogical studies conducted a training on the learning tool kit software for its second year students and faculty members on Tuesday 8th March 2022. The training was facilitated by Ms Rose Iminza and Mr. Enos Kiforo from Concordia University. The software is a digital teaching and learning platform used to teach early Childhood learners.
