Dr Teresia W. Kazungu a long serving academic staff member with 30 years of exemplary service as a Kiswahili Educator in the  Department retired this year. She's credited for training over 2500  kiswahili teachers. She will be remembered for her demand for quality and order in teaching Kiswahili
