The 13th biennial Pan-African Literacy For All (PALFA) Conference with the Theme: Remediating the Global Learning Poverty Crisis through Innovative Literacy Practices was held on 23rd to 25th of August 2023 hosted by the department of Educational communication Technology and Pedagogical Studies at the Manu Chandaria Hall at the University towers.
The occasion was officially opened by the Chief Guest, Hon. Ezekiel Machogu Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Education who sent a representative hosted by AG. Vice Chancellor Prof. Ogengo The conference was attended by delegates from all over the world who presented papers and engaged on diverse issues that affect education sector. The three day conference which was blended with some delegate attending and presenting papers remotely. The conference was officially closed on Friday 25th August 2023 by Dr. Beatrice Muganda Inyangala,Principal Secretary, State Department for Higher Education. Ministry of Education. .
