The department of eduactional communication and technology is currently finishing prepairing modules to be used for online and distance learning. The modules once prepaired, lecturers will be able to use them for online teaching and also using them for distance learning to counter the challeges posed by the COVID 19 pardemic. this is meant to ensure that learning countinues uninterrupted and the students are able to proceed with their studies despite the challeges being faced nationally and internationally.
Currently the department is prepairing for a mock online examination to teach students how to do an online exam and also to test the system capacity and efficiency. The University senate approved online administering of examinations to ensure that the students are abe to finish the semester in time for the next semester.
