ONLINE TEACHING AND LEARNING

The University of Nairobi suspended Face–to-face learning on March 16th 2020 following a presidential directive to close all learning institutions to contain the spread of Corona Virus.In light of this the Senate resolved that all teaching & learning be migrated to online platforms. The following platforms have been approved for use in teaching and learning:

 - Zoom

 - Google Classroom

- Big Blue Button

–Blackboard

 - Webex

- University e-learning platform (e-class)

The University has adapted online learning for all faculties, institutes and schools for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. All procedures and protocol for online examination of postgraduate thesis, projects and dissertations have been approved.

In addition; the following students resources’ are available for E-Learning:

  1. E-Class: http://eclass.uonbi.ac.ke/course/view.php?id=813. All students will go through a guided exercise to ease the transition from face-to-face learning to Online learning.
