The new Chancellor Professor Patrick Verkooijen of the university of Nairobi visited the Faculty of Education Kikuyu Campus on Tuesday 30th of January 2024 on a familiarization  tour of the campus and also to engage with staff, faculty and Students. 

The Department of Educational communication,Technology and Pedagogical Studies organised a teaching with technology seminar to upgrade the Faculty members soft skills in use of various digital tools in developing content for teaching. This according to the Chairman of the department Dr.Boniface Ngaruiya constitute a series of seminars of Digital Transformation Programme seminars that the Department intends to undertake to ensure all members are able to use digital tools that are available  in teaching and developing online content.
